Jamb Makes another Mistake with Cut-off for UTME 2017

JAMB released the official cut-off mark for 2017/2018 UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) applicants, for degree awarding courses, minimum marks was tagged 120 and for non-degree awarding courses 100 marks. This report  reached us on Wednesday 23rd August 2017

When will JAMB and Nigeria as a country learn? Policies markers should rethink this JAMB admission policy because it will do more harm than good . Strange but true

  1. The best student goes to University (180 and above)
  2. The average student goes to Polytechnic (120 and above)
  3. The below average student goes to College of education (100 and below)

Then in the next 4 years we expect students that graduate from colleges of education to teach our children on how to get A’s. Strange policy, “I beg give us something better”
